Introduction:

The game is a 2D sidescroller! The player will move left and right through the level and collect items and power-ups while defeating enemies and avoiding dangers


Backstory:

MightyMike! is an intergalactic space hero, whose spaceship has crash-landed on Mars. The crash led to the power-core for his ship being jettisoned across the planet. In order to retrieve it, and repair his ship, MightyMike! must journey across the seemingly barren landscape. Unfortunatley for him, he has no idea of the perils that await him…He must defeat enemies, avoid traps, collect power-ups, and survive the trip.


Objective:

MightyMike! must survive and get through each level in order to reach the missing power-core. Each level will have different challenges and enemies guarding the exit, which our hero must reach.


Gameplay:

MightyMike! will be able to run left or right, and be able to jump on platforms. Enemies who touch MightyMike! will injure/kill him.


Controls:

Left Arrow- Move Left 

Right Arrow - Move RIght 

Space- Jump


GUI:

Home Screen - Start, Exit, and Game setting available

In-Game Display -  health, items


Art:


MightyMike! standing, running, jumping, hurt, dead

Enemies, Items, Level design


Sound:

Jump noise, Win noise, walk noise.
